This allows browsers to retrieve it faster and makes a website&#8217;s URL translation to its corresponding IP address more efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes it&#8217;s helpful to clear your computer&#8217;s DNS cache to fix any issue, problematic files, or inability to find the server&#8217;s IP address on Google&#8217;s Chrome browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Type <strong><em>cmd<\/em><\/strong> in <strong>Windows Start Menu<\/strong>;<\/li><li>The <strong>Command Prompt<\/strong> tool should pop out, then you can click it;<\/li><li>In the console, type the following command: <em>ipconfig\/flushdns<\/em>;<\/li><li>The system will run the command and your DNS cache should be successfully cleared.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For macOS<\/span>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the <strong>Terminal<\/strong> by hitting <strong>command + Spacebar<\/strong> and typing <strong>Terminal<\/strong>. After this, open<strong> Command Prompt<\/strong> again and type the following:<em> netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log <\/em>;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You will have to restart your computer again.
